Mary Kay Director

Its a title of prestige in the Mary Kay world, but for all those not floating in the pink bubble let me take a moment to enlighten you. Mary Kay is a cosmetics company in which people sign up as independent beauty consultants to run their own business. It can be a tough gig to be sure but that's where directors come in. Directors are the leaders in Mary Kay. They teach, motivate, and support their consultants. In order for a person, myself included, to earn directorship in this amazing company, one must go through DIQ or directorship in qualification. They must build a team up to 10 people and have a certain amount in sales production and then they can submit their agreement to start DIQ. DIQ can be 1 to 4 months long and requires more team building and a certain amount of sales per month. Sounds intense right? Well lucky for me I have an amazing director to help me go through this process. While I'm not near this process at the moment, I will be soon and I am using this blog to chronicle my journey. Today I am a Senior Consultant. I have one active recruit. I will be getting to the next level by the middle of the month when my 2 other recruits activate. I have 2 friends considering the opportunity. I am on my way and I have a great team following me :)
